INDOHUN Tracer Study for Activities in One Health Workforce Next Generation (OHW-NG) Project

Since 2019, the OHW/OHW-NG projects have operated in Africa and Asia, with key networks including the Africa One Health University Network (AFROHUN) and the Southeast Asia One Health University Network. A notable partner is the Indonesia One Health University Network (INDOHUN), a university association promoting interdisciplinary collaboration in human, animal, and environmental health in Indonesia.

INDOHUN builds the national One Health Workforce—comprising students, professionals, and government employees—through training, research, and policy advocacy. Its goal is to enhance coordination and collaboration to address emerging infectious diseases (EIDs) and zoonoses using a One Health approach.

To evaluate program success, INDOHUN uses indicators that measure participants’ ability to demonstrate and apply key values and skills. It plans a tracer study to assess activity outcomes, focusing on metrics such as job placement timelines, field relevance, and competency evaluations by workplace leaders.
